On Thursday, November 21, 2024 Russo's On The Bay The Hospital Engineering Society of Greater NY (HESGNY) invites you to join us for a most intriguing day, sharing knowledge, technologies, innovative products and great delicacies!! Network amongst the who’s who in the broader healthcare facilities greater NY area.  

We will review the heightened need for integrated commissioning, validating user needs & compliance in healthcare facilities today.

The frustration of new technology with no overarching standards.

The typical method of ONLY testing/commissioning to MFG requirement not user need.

Issues of multiple vendors/devices/components leading to difficult ongoing diagnostics.

Scott Breor , sharing that no matter the novelty of a system, it must be secure

NYC AHJ, sharing all things are good on a regular day, however fires nor mayhem make appointments, and compliance is a must.  Further, they will address the group regarding historical hospital fires, what they can do towards compliance and a review of basic code requirements. Executive Director Rocco Bonavita Fire Alarm Inspection Unit & Plan Examination will be glad to sit on your Q&A panel and take questions on fire alarm testing, plan submission & examination, and code requirements.
